About Taronga Zoo
Taronga Zoo is a zoo in Mosman, reached by a short ferry ride from the Sydney CBD, with more than 15 daily keeper talks and presentations across its animal habitats. Animals on show include koalas, sea-lions, tigers, a platypus and red pandas, among many others.
The zoo runs animal encounters, a Wildlife Express train through the grounds, and a Wild Ropes high ropes course, which is suited to kids' birthday parties as well as family visits. Overnight options include a harbourside eco-retreat and the Roar and Snore sleepover experience, suitable for ages five and up.
